Terms and Conditions LCL Load

 GENERAL CARGO HANDLING

  1. Rates are valid for General Cargo and Stackable.
  2. Rates are not valid for dangerous cargo, oversized cargo or personal effects.
  3. The cargo must be properly packed for transport.
  4. Loose cargo, with irregular packaging will be subject to additional charges.
  5. For loads that have more weight than volume, a density surcharge of 50% is generated on the total freight, except for the USA and Brazil that have particular charges.
  6. For all Merchandise that is NOT STACKABLE, the dead space will be charged based on 2.5Mts high per piece. The load not removable from each other could generate dead space therefore it will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  7. Please note that for all cargo such as: Food Products, Tobacco, Cigarettes, Alcohol and Alcoholic Beverages, approval and costs at origin and transshipment ports must be consulted.
  8. Please note that in case of changing the dimensions of the load / weight / volume or that the merchandise requires special handling, the EXWORK COSTS will change. On the other hand, the client will be billed for inspections, quarantines and / or other non-contemplated handling that is generated during the operation.
  9. Please bear in mind that all merchandise that, due to its weight and volume characteristics, require special handling in port or generate additional costs for forklifts or additional personnel at the time of deconsolidation, the customer will be informed and the costs incurred will be invoiced.

 

HANDLING DANGEROUS CARGO

  1. All IMO cargo is subject to acceptance by the Carrier at Origin and/or Transshipment.
  2. IMO Transshipment is not accepted in Callao/Peru and/or Colon/Panama.
  3. IMO cargo from Ecuador is not accepted.
  4. IMO 1 and 7 are not accepted for consolidated handling.
  5. We do not consolidate dangerous cargo from the Far East, except for Shanghai for cargo with maximum dimensions of 120x120x120cms per piece, any cargo that exceeds the standard measures in this traffic will be subject to additional surcharges. The IMO classes generally accepted in this traffic are: 3, 4.1, 6.1, 8 and 9, however, all dangerous cargo is subject to acceptance and spaces by the Carrier at origin.
  6. Please note that the IMO cargo service from Shanghai to Cartagena does not include the IMO transfer in Barcelona. The IMO charge and approval from Spain, must be consulted with the MSDS prior to dispatch.
  7. Please note that the following IMOs from Germany incur additional charges: 2.2, 2.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1.
  8. Please note that IMO 5.1 from Italy generates a Port Intervention cost of Eur220, on the other hand, the IMO cost in sea freight whose cost is consulted with MSDS must be added.
  9. Please note that dangerous cargoes subject to immediate evacuation by the docks in Cartagena, Barranquilla and / or Buenaventura can NOT be stored as LCL, therefore, the client will be responsible for the costs incurred for the deconsolidation of the unit such as: change of modality (LCL to FCL), container arrears, warehousing, inspections, etc. At the moment the IMO classes subject to immediate evacuation are: 1, 2.1, 2.3, 5.2, 6.2, 7). However, new classes may be added to the list of restrictions by the docks without prior notice.

 

TRAFFIC LIMITS

  1. Rates valid up to: Length 5.7Mts x Width 2.2Mts x Height 2Mts and 2000Kgs per Piece and / or 8tons / 18m3 per shipment in all traffic, exceeding these weight and volume limits the rate must be consulted punctually, except: Argentina, Chile, Brazil, USA, Europe, traffic via Callao and via Panama that have particular traffic notes
  2. Rates valid up to: 6TON/15M3 from Qingdao, Xingang and Taiwan, exceeding these weight and volume limits, the rate must be consulted promptly.
  3. For Far Eastern loads weighing more than 2500KGS per piece is generated cost of OVER WEIGHT (OWS) Please consult costs on a case-by-case basis.
  4. Please consult case by case any shipment from or with Transshipment in Callao / Peru that exceeds 6TONS / 10M3 per shipment or 300x200x200cms (L x W x H) and 2000Kgs per piece since the dispatch will be subject to acceptance or additional charges.

 

 

  1. Please consult case by case any shipment from or with Transshipment in Colon / Panama that exceeds 5TONS / 17M3 per shipment or 400x200x200cms (L x W x H) and 2500Kgs per piece since the dispatch will be subject to acceptance or additional charges.
  2. Please consult case by case any shipment from or with Transshipment in Rotterdam / Antwerp that exceeds 6TONS / 15M3 per shipment or 300x200x220cms (L x W x H) and 3000Kgs per piece since the dispatch will be subject to acceptance or additional charges
  3. Please consult case by case any shipment from or with Transshipment in Barcelona / Valencia that exceeds 6TONS / 15M3 per shipment or 300x200x180cms (L x W x H) and 2500Kgs per piece since the dispatch will be subject to acceptance or additional charges
  4. Please consult case by case any shipment from Chile that exceeds 10M3 since the dispatch will be subject to acceptance or additional charges.
  5. Please consult case by case any shipment from Argentina that exceeds 7TONS/10M3, since the dispatch will be subject to acceptance or additional charges.
  6. For goods via Turkey that exceed 3.5mts long, 1.80mts high and weight x piece of 2000Kgs freight must be consulted case by case.

 

CARGO FROM THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA.

  1. U.S. freight includes Low Sulfur Surcharge (LSF), Chassis Fee, ELS.
  2. Please note that loads are NOT received at U.S.A. Stations/Warehouses that do not have a Booking number assigned by our agent.
  3. USA / CANADA: Goods that are moved from any state of USA and / or CANADA in INBOND form and our agent processes this document (Temp: Transport Entry Manifest), a cost of USD 85 will be generated. Please note that it is mandatory for the transmission of the BOND that the specific commodity and the 6-digit tariff heading of the United States in the HBL’S are related, without this complete information, the cargo will not be accepted by the US customs and our agent will not be able to dispatch it.
