Terms and condition air cargo

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE OFFER:

1- Please bear in mind that cargoes with transshipment abroad are subject to connection and in case of inspections and other costs by foreign authorities these costs will be transferred to our client who makes the reservation to MSL in case the consignee does not cancel the costs.

2- The Itineraries are subject to change without notice, because we are subject to changes made by shipping lines. The Cut Off of each Motonave is found in the itineraries. In case of receiving a reservation outside the Cut Off, it is subject to quota.

3- It is the responsibility of the exporter that the loads are properly packed and that they comply with the ISPM15 standard, otherwise they will be responsible for fines or penalties that may arise at ports of connection and destination.

4- The loads must be properly marked and in the cases of IMO cargo properly labeled, if at the time of filling this requirement is not met, MSL will not be responsible for fines or cost overruns at ports of connection or destination and will proceed to invoice said costs to whoever makes the reservation.

5- It is the responsibility of the customs agent to present the following documents for Cartagena: SAE, Selectivity, entry form, port file, letter of responsibility, BL Draft.

6- It is the responsibility of the customs broker to present the following documents for Buenaventura: SAE, Selectivity, letter of responsibility, BL Draft, profiling, download visit and scale ticket.

7- The customs broker is responsible for accompanying your cargo with the letter of responsibility and presenting it to the port authorities and at the time of inspections. This is for security reasons.

8- Keep in mind that in case the freight is collected, the company that makes the reservation will be responsible for the payment of this in the event that the consignee does not cancel the invoice, or remove the merchandise at destination.

9- The costs to be collected at destination must be informed prior to the departure of the MN and regardless of the negotiation term, clarity must be made about the collect and prepaid expenses.

10- MSL invoices as soon as the Motonave sails. MSL is NOT responsible for collected costs requested after the departure of the MN.

11- Any change in the B / L and costs to collect after the departure of the MN, will have a cost of USD25.

12- MSL OF COLOMBIA. It is not responsible for the shipment if the dimensions, weight and volume. etc. They do not coincide with the reserved ones. In case the volume or weight is less than the reserved, the value per T/M3 will be charged.

13- The freight offered is in FOB conditions.

14- Dangerous cargoes are handled  by MSL subject to consolidation and approval by the Shipping Line. For this, the forms of the line must be filled out. The IMO cost varies according to the shipping line. IMO loads with transfers are subject to the approval and additional surcharge applied by the agent on the second leg. These costs must be borne by the company making the reservation.

15- The goods travel at the expense and risk of the exporter and we do not insure the loads unless requested in writing by the client.

16- For the handling of dangerous goods it is essential to have the IMO labels for the container (4 labels with it UN and 4 labels with the IMO), therefore these must be delivered by the customs agent at the time of physical closure, otherwise MSL will proceed to supply them and the cost of them will be transferred to the client.

17- MSL cites the customs agent to be present at the filling of the container, so that in this way they carry out the verification and inspection of taking measurements. Our agent in Puerto will send the invitation by mail one day before informing you of the day and time. MSL, will accept the result that we send later in terms of measures and others.

18- For the cutting of the B / L will be taken into account the one that resides the customs agent in port.

19- The warehouses generated after the filling and departure of the motor ship will be prorated within the customers of the consolidated.

GENERAL NOTES OF THE OFFER

* Rates expressed in Usd

* Arrival expenses on behalf of the Consignee.

* All loads that have Transshipments abroad are subject to connection and possible inspections, on the other hand route changes may occur without prior notice.

PACKING

* The merchandise must be packaged in resistant packaging, allowing the handling of them.

* Packages must be delivered completely closed.

* In the case of pallets, the use of heat shrinkables is suggested.

* All cargo and/or pallets of wood must be fumigated according to FAO ISPM Resolution No. 15. and the fumigation certificate will be required, especially for transshipments abroad, the client will be responsible for the penalties and / or costs for destruction for not delivering the load on fumigated wooden pallets.

* Jute bags are not allowed in Panama.

SURCHARGES FOR EXTRADIMENSIONS:

Any load that:

* From Cartagena and Buenaventura exceed L 5.70 x W 2.20 x H 2.20 meters and / or a weight of 3000 kgs per piece or package.

* With Transshipment in Panama exceed L 4.00 mt x W 2.00 x H 2.00 mts and / or a weight of 2500 kgs per piece or package.

* With Transshipment in Panama exceed 5000Kgs in Total Weight and / or 17M3 in Total Volume.

* With Transshipment in Peru exceed 15000Kgs in Total Weight and / or 35M3 in Total Volume

* With Transshipment in Chile exceed 4500Kgs in Total Weight.

* Destined for Brazil exceeds 6000Kgs in Total weight and / or 10M3 in Total volume.

* With Destination to Ecuador exceed L 5.00 x W 2.00 x L 2.2 Mts and / or a Weight of 2000 Kgs per piece or package.

* With Transshipment and destination to New York exceeds 13000Kgs in Total Weight and / or 30M3 in Total Volume.

* With Transshipment in Panama to Miami exceed 3.00 meters long per piece or package.

* With Transshipment in Panama to San Juan de Puerto Rico exceeds 2000 Kgs per piece or package.

* With Transshipment in Holland exceed L 2.5 x W 2.0 X H 2.2 meters and / or 2500 Kgs per piece or package.

* With transhipment in Spain exceed L 3.2 x W 2.0 x H 2.2 meters and / or 2800 Kgs per piece or package.

* With transhipment in Germany exceed L 3.5 x W 2.0 x H 2.0 mts and / or 3000 Kgs per piece or package

* With Transshipment in Korea exceed L 3 x W 2.0 x H 2.0 mts and / or 2500 Kgs per piece or package

* With Transshipment in Hong Kong exceed L 2.5 x W 2.0 x H 1.8 mts and / or 2500 Kgs per piece or package

* Bound for BEIJIAO, CHONGQUIG, GUANDONG, FOSHAN, LANSHI, ZHANJIANG, ZHUHAI exceed L 2.0 per piece and/or 800 kgs per piece.

* Destined for INDONESIA (Batam), BRUNEI (Muara), CAMBODIA (Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville), SABAH (Kotka Kinabalu, Sandaken), SARAWAK (Bintulu, Kuching, Miri, Sibu) exceed L 2.0 x W 1.5 x H 2.0 and / or 1000 Kgs per piece.

The following surcharges will be charged for extradimension:

* With Transfer in Callao: Applies Usd10w/m3 from 8 Tons to 15Tons and / or from 17M3 to 35M3

* With transfer in Callao: Applies Usd5w / / m3 for loads exceeding L 4.00 x W 2.10 x H 2.00 Mts

* With Transshipment and Destination to Callao: If the weight is equal to or greater than 2500 kgs per piece, the warehouse applies a cost of USD 200.00 for special handling.

* With Transshipment and Destination to Callao: If the length is equal to or greater than 4 Mts, the warehouse applies a cost of USD 200.00 for special handling.
